Hospitality in Disney: Hotel style

When talking about the hospitality sector of Walt Disney World it is not only the parks it is the hotel and resorts that Disney has to offer. Whether you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World or just want to know what all the talk is about this post will be very useful to you. I have found a very informational, helpful and fun video that gives great information on Disney's hospitality sector of resorts.

This video explains all the necessary information that you need for Walt Disney World resorts. This has information on when everything was built, renovations, and why it was built the was it was. I found this very informational and gave light to how detailed the Disney Company is.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

The Walt Disney Company takes a lot of pride and dedication in the placement, structure and theme of their resorts. This is very noticeable whether you are traveling at Walt Disney World or watching any sort of television show with the resorts in it. When I visited Walt Disney World I was amazed at the different resorts and all that they had to offer. We stayed at one of resorts that had smaller sections sort of like one floor in a regular hotel but clustered all over the grounds. Ours was connected to one of the pools. I also have seen multiple of the other hotels and they are all different but made with the Disney promise of showing character and detail with a purpose.

Some of the things that are relayed in the video are:

  • Since Disney wants every type of family to be able to experience Disney, the place where dreams come true, they have a variety of different resorts
    • Value resorts
    • High end resorts
    • Character resorts
    • And much more
  • Because a lot of people travel to the parks from a long distance there is a lot of free transportation
    • From the airport to the parks
    • From the airport to your resorts
    • From parks to resorts
    • From resorts to parks
    • From parks to parks
  • There is always enough food to go around
    • Mickey novelty snacks
    • Gourmet restaurants
    • Quick food stands
    • Fun themed restaurants
  • And much more
All of the items in the video are very relevant for families, business owners and spring breakers that need to know what Disney has that makes it one of the most spectacular places on Earth. Most of these items that I learned in this video I could not believe. Disney takes so much time in doing the research for all of the ideas and details that go into the color on the walls, fixtures in the rooms and theme of the whole resort. I cannot believe what all goes into this but this again goes to show how dedicated and practiced the Disney team really is. Disney is also doing a lot of audience research to make sure that what they are spending time and money on is worth it to make their customers happy. There is also all of the marketing and advertising to their audiences. Finally Disney is always doing the evaluation step and making changes as they see fit to make their  Disney experience.

This is all related back to the public relations field and following the steps. This process is very straight forward and easy but when you add it to the already existing process that Disney goes through everyday it gets very complicated. I believe that Disney is doing a great job at making each resort unique and very much targeted to the specific audience that they are trying to reach. I do not think that they need to change a thing.

Disney is doing great things when it comes to customer service and it is obvious because of the vast numbers of visitors that they have travel here every year. With this being said I think that being a part of this wonderful company is something that anyone would be happy to except whether it be in the park, corporation or the hospitality sector of resorts.

That is all for now but next up I will show you some comparisons of all the resorts at Walt Disney World: Where Dreams Come True.
